National Philanthropy

The Victor Correa CPR Awareness Day was created in honor of Sigma Lambda Beta brother Victor "Ziggy" Correa Ortiz who died during a drowning accident where none of the bystanders knew how to administer CPR. The fraternity encourages its members to host CPR training and awareness events. Additionally, we provide information on CPR Training to potential new members.

Local Philanthropy

The 'SUCIO' Sigma Beta chapter works in conjunction with several different communities in San Marcos to provide assistance to those communities who have provided to us. We firmly believe that without the San Marcos community, the Sigma Beta chapter would not be where it is today.

An example is volunteering at our Adopt-A-Spot at the Hays County Veterans Memorial. Brothers do monthly clean-ups at our Adopt-A-Spot to ensure the preservation of this location and to honor those who have served in our country.
